How To Style Your Coffee Table

How many times have you somehow let your coffee table to get into an unbelievable cluttered mess? You can’t even deny it, it happens even with all of your purest intentions to keep it neat, tidy, and clutter-free.

It can’t be helped a coffee table can be used in so many different ways, from a place to set your drink, to being the best footrest you have, to something that adds that little bit of oomph to your living room.

But, if you decorate your coffee table to be a beautiful part of your living room, you won’t let it get into such a cluttered mess again. All you need is the rule of 3.

Three is a solid number that grabs your attention because it's odd, and not too many things to look at all at once.

You don't have to worry about your coffee table being a weird shape, small, or big. The only thing you'll need to keep in mind is that if your table is big, you'll need slightly bigger items so that they don't look completely lost on the table.

The "rule" isn't strict; you can match three items, but have one as a pair. Just remember, it needs to look like three items.

Take a look at our example;  we've paired up two similar looking vases, added a fruit bowl, and a cluster of books. The table not only looks useful but looks like it's a functional centerpiece in the room.

You can even stack things on top of each other, try putting a couple of books of different sizes on top of each other and then a vase on top. Your coffee table will look like an essential part of the room.

Don't be afraid to add plants; greenery always brings a room to life very beautifully.
